Cheryshev: "We lacked success in front of goal"
The winger's views on the Matchday 37 game against RCD Espanyol
Denis Cheryshev analysed the 1-1 draw with RCD Espanyol in a post-match interview with VCF MEDIA.
A good showing
“The team provided a good feeling. We played well. We lacked success in front of goal. The opposition didn't cause us much danger. We were the better side, but we didn't translate it into the result."
Playing better in the second half
"At the end of the first half we paid for switching off. They scored two goals against us -with one disallowed. In the second half we had several dangerous moments in which we stole the ball."
A possible penalty for Mario Domínguez
"It was very doubtful, but I couldn't tell you. On the pitch it seemed like it was a penalty."
Trying to win the next game
"Playing for Valencia CF and wearing this shirt, you have to go out to win every game. There can be no other way."
